The raw Gigaro is the version closest to the source material. The ceramic is unglazed, left in its natural state — matte and porous, just as it leaves the ceramicist's hands. Its surface absorbs light rather than reflecting it, creating a natural, soft and enveloping atmosphere, without glare.

Available in two complementary finishes: Terracotta, the warm, mineral colour of the southern earth; and Chaux Blanche, luminous and refined like the walls of Mediterranean houses. The raw Gigaro integrates effortlessly into any interior.

Inspired by the Provençal sun hat that dances with the wind and plays with the light of the South, its generous form captures light from above and diffuses it in a crown downward. Handcrafted in Portugal in our artisan workshops, each piece is unique — subtle surface variations and nuances of material are the signature of the artisan's hand.

The raw Gigaro pairs naturally with our wall lights and portable lamps in the same finish for complete lighting coherence. It also works beautifully with our ceramic coffee tables and side tables to anchor a space in an authentic Mediterranean spirit.
