The story behind this piece

The Sormiou M is a table lamp that finds the balance between presence and restraint. Tall enough to punctuate a reading corner or structure a living room, understated enough to complement light woods, linen and natural materials without ever dominating the space.

Its ceramic base, hand-thrown and hand-painted in Portugal, recalls the pale stone of the calanques. The jute or raphia shade filters the light like a light voile, a soft glow that does not seek to shine, but to warm. An E27 bulb diffuses a golden halo that highlights textures and softens volumes.

Place the Sormiou M on an entrance console, a sofa end table or a generous bedside. It integrates naturally into a Mediterranean, minimalist or contemporary interior, and pairs with our ceramic side tables and coffee tables to create a coherent decorative harmony.
