Its cream ceramic base, hand-thrown and hand-painted in Portugal, is topped with a jute or raphia shade that fills the space with a honey-coloured warmth. A soft light that never dazzles — faithful to the Mediterranean spirit: warmth without excess, presence without ostentation.

At 101 cm tall and 25 cm in diameter, the Botera fits easily beside an armchair, at the end of a low sideboard or in a hallway. In interiors where every metre counts, it integrates without imposing. In larger spaces, it structures and punctuates.
