The story behind this piece

The Gaou cushions are handwoven by women in a small production workshop in Portugal. They take the time to sort natural cotton fibres collected from the regional textile industry and recycle them. On traditional wooden looms, they weave by hand, without water or electricity, using only the strength of their arms.

Removable cover, machine washable. Available in formats 40x40, 60x40 and 70x70 cm. Each cushion is unique, slight variations in weave and tone are the signature of the artisan's hand.
