The story behind this piece

The Tarifa rug was born from a simple and ancestral gesture. In a small workshop in northern Portugal, artisan women recover cotton off-cuts from nearby textile factories, sort them and weave them by hand on traditional wooden looms, without water or electricity, using only the strength of their arms.

Machine washable. Available from 60x100 to 200x300 cm. Each piece is unique, slight variations in the weave are the signature of the artisan's hand.
